Antenna Port LocationThe F256VW Home Phone Connect 2 has an SMA/Female antenna connector. If you are using an antenna with a cable terminated in FME/Female (this is the most common scenario), attach the 971119 FME/Male to SMA/Male connector onto the end of your antenna cable and then you will be able to screw your cable into the Home Phone Connect. If you are using a cable with an N/Male connector, you will either need TWO connectors (N/Female to FME/Female and then FME/Male to SMA/Male) OR you can use the RSA-3452 N/Female to SMA/Male connector. |

An amplifier is the best way to improve weak signal for your Home Phone Connect F256VW. Amplifiers also require an antenna, which may need to be added separately if it is not a part of a kit. An amplifier will only boost the signal to the one device it is connected to - if you need to boost the signal to multiple devices, you will need a repeater. |
