The Signal Splitter will allow you to connect a second phone or EVDO data device to an existing direct-connect amplifier and external antenna system. Please note that by adding an additional device, the enhancement provided by original solution will be reduced, as the signal will now be split between two devices. For example, if your original solution resulted in 15db signal gain to a single device, this splitter should provide 11db signal gain to TWO devices. (decreased signal for one, but still improved signal for both) Because of the loss resulting from splitting the signal, we strongly recommend using the splitter ONLY in conjunction with our 3watt direct-connect amplifier
