This router ships with firmware version 1.6.9 installed. If you plan to use this router with any of the below devices, you will need to update the firmware before using the router (all other routers on the compatibility list will work with the pre-installed firmware):

The latest firmware version is included on CD and you can easily upgrade the firmware yourself; alternatively, 3Gstore can perform the upgrade for you before shipping your router for $15. To have 3Gstore update your firmware before shipping, select "upgrade to firmware 1.7.0" from the menu below.
Planning to use this router with a 4G modem? Additional upgrades and settings changes are necessary to use this router with your 4G modem. You can do these yourself with the provided instructions, or 3Gstore can upgrade the router for you before shipping. To have 3Gstore update your router for 4G before shipping, select the upgrade option from the menu below (if you select one of the "upgrade for 4G" options, the firmware will also be updated).

POWERFUL, RELIABLE, CONVENIENT
As a high-performance adapter, the CBA750 supports multiple and concurrent application streams
for the attached device, converting Ethernet to mobile broadband and mobile broadband to Ethernet.
This flexible connectivity solution is platform independent, features two operating modes (configuration and IP Pass-Through), and has an “always-on”
signal strength meter to determine the best mobile
broadband reception for optimum placement.
The CBA750 is truly a “drop-in” 3G/4G solution for
adding mobile broadband capability effortlessly.
HOW IS IT USED?
The CradlePoint CBA750 3G/4G Mobile Broad-
band Adapter can be used in three main ways:
- As Primary Connection in “remote, lights-out”
devices like kiosks, ATMs, digital signage, and point
of sale devices.
- As Failover Connenction for network equipment
that supports redundant WANs.
- As Antenna Remoting, which allows you to
get the best 3G/4G signal available by placing the
CBA750 in the best location for receiving the signal.
This flexibility, along with Power-over-Ethernet lets you take advantage of existing CAT5 cabling within a building to bring the internet connection to your equipment room.
