This EVDO booster antenna is bundled with the specific adapter cable needed for the AC580. When adding this antenna to your shopping cart the correct adapter will be added as well, along with a tip sheet. The adapter added with this Booster antenna plugs into the antenna port on your data device, it does not attach to the built in antenna.
ALL ADAPTER CABLES NEEDED ARE ADDED TO YOUR SHOPPING CART BY ADDING THIS BOOSTER ANTENNA

Included in the package is:

Booster Antenna
Antenna stand to allow the Booster Antenna to stand vertically
appropriate cable to plug into AirCard 580 antenna port
2 suction cups to attach to the antenna (not required to use, good for mounting in a car windshield)

The antenna delivers a full 3 db gain.

Also, the cable length is at the manfacturers optimum length of 3 1/2 feet. Any cable lenght that is greater, can degrade the signal and can hurt the performance of the booster antenna.

How big is the booster antenna?

The base portion detaches and the antenna and base fit easily in any briefcase.

Improves signal strength for both 1xEVDO (BroadbandAccess) and 1xRTT (NationalAccess).
