The Wilson Cellular SIGNALBOOST (inline) Bi-directional Amplifier improves RF coverage in areas with no signal or low signal strength. The unit amplifies both 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular and PCS signals providing up to 3 Watts of output power on the 800MHz band and 2 Watts of output power on the 1900MHz (PCS) Band.
This amplifier comes with a 12V DC car charger. If you plan to use this amplifier in a home/office environment, you will need to purchase the AC Charger (sold separately).
This amplifier is designed to provide boosted signal to only ONE device. If you need to improve signal to multiple phones/cellular modems at once, please see this amplifier.
Works with all Cellular/PCS Service Providers except i-DEN (N-E-X-T-E-L/Southern LINC/Mike) and 1700MHz AWS (T-Mobile US 3G)
How the unit functions:
The 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular signal from the cell site is received by the Wilson Cellular antenna (sold separately). The signal is then amplified and transmitted to your phone through the included passive coupler adapter (attaches to the phone using velcro). When the phone transmits, the signal is sent to the amplifier through the adapter and then amplified and sent to the cell site through the outside antenna.
May also be used in conjunction with the Wilson Cellular Cell Phone Cradle Plus.

All US Cellular/PCS carriers except i-DEN carriers such as N-E-X-T-E-L, SouthernLinc, Mike (Canada). i-DEN users should use the 3 Watt Direct Connection Amplifier for N-E-X-T-E-L/I-den. Not Compatible with 1700MHz AWS (T-Mobile US 3G).

Verizon, AT&T GSM/GPRS/TDMA, Cingular, Alltel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Cellular One, US Cellular, Midwest Wireless, Qwest, etc
