This Omni External (AKA "Trucker") antenna is bundled with the specific adapter cable needed for the Sprint Merlin S720. When adding this antenna to your shopping cart the correct adapter will be added as well, along with the 3-way mount and a tip sheet. The adapter added with this antenna plugs into the antenna port on your modem/phone (not sure where your device's antenna port is? See Where is My Antenna Port?). THE NECESSARY ADAPTER CABLE TO CONNECT TO YOUR Sprint Merlin S720 IS AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO YOUR SHOPPING CART WHEN YOU ADD THIS OMNI ANTENNA.
The Omni External Antenna improves signal for voice and data (1xRTT, EVDO Rev-0, EVDO Rev-A, EDGE [AT&T 2G], HSPA [AT&T 3G]). The signal "gain" users see with the Omni Antenna is variable and dependent upon available signal in the area, interference, etc. Before buying any antenna, we encourage customers to read this article: Will an Antenna Help Me?.
This 32" dual-band omni-directional antenna does not require a ground plane and includes a 3-way mount for mounting to a mirror on RV/coach/truck, RV ladder, boat, home/office, or pole/mast mount (it can also be installed in a standard 3/8" * 24 threaded "CB" mount). 12' of RG-58 cable are attached to the antenna (extensions available) and the appropriate adapter cable for your aircard/phone is automatically added to your shopping cart when you add this antenna. This antenna is made for outdoor use and should be mounted as high as possible in order to minimize obstruction between the antenna and the cell tower.

Optional add-ons (sold separately):
- Lightning Surge Protector - in order to use the surge protector with these antennas, you will need one of EACH of the following:
- 991107 Spring - For more flexibility and to prevent impact damage, you can add the 991107 spring between the Omni Antenna and the mount.
