Peplink FusionHub Virtual Appliance

With FusionHub, a central location can perform bandwidth aggregation, session persistence, and become a "Hub" for remote employees that need to VPN into a corporate network. FusionHub utilizes Peplink's SpeedFusion WAN bonding technology, which allows users to combine the bandwidth of up to 13 WAN links from DSL, cellular, or Cable connections. As a rock-solid VPN technology, SpeedFusion allows for unbreakable internet connections and can save users money by combining the bandwidth of low-cost DSL and cable lines in place of expensive fiber or MPLS lines. Using the same core firmware as the Balance product range, FusionHub runs on nearly all mainstream virtual machine software including VMware, XenServer and VirtualBox.

FusionHub licenses are available for all business sizes, from 5 peers/25Mbps throughput up to 4000 peers/2000Mpbs throughput. View/order FusionHub licenses

What Can You Do With FusionHub?

  • Form SpeedFusion connections to your datacenter or cloud infrastructure.
  • See the web domains your clients are visiting, and the applications they are using.
  • Augment existing physical Peplink infrastructure with FusionHub enabled virtual machines.

In combination with your virtual machine software’s high availability and fault tolerance features, FusionHub will add these new abilities to your SpeedFusion cloud infrastructure:

  • Bandwidth Aggregation (SpeedFusion VPN bonding technology):
    • Combine all the available bandwidth at a location into a single logical network connection back to a FusionHub.
    • Use that bonded connection for internet access or for site-to-site traffic across your WAN.
    • Stream videos and transfer large files at locations with very slow Internet speeds.
    • Combine different sources of bandwidth, taking advantage of any connection available locally.
  • Session Persistance (Unbreakable VPN):
    • Combine connectivity of any type from multiple ISPs, to create a highly available connection between your device and the FusionHub.
    • Use the connection to guarentee Internet access availability, or site-to-site data flow.
    • Packet-level seamless failover – your active sessions are not dropped when a WAN link fails.
    • Set more expensive links (3G/4G LTE) as hot failover links used only when a primary link fails.
  • Deploy on Any Cloud Server:
    • Rapidly deploy a FusionHub virtual appliance anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.
    • Use FusionHub in a local datacenter or remotely in public or hybrid clouds.
    • Deploy multiple FusionHubs to support an unlimited number of customers.
    • Installs on existing servers, no need to buy new hardware.
    • Supports VMware, Citrix XenApp and VirtualBox.
    • All instances can be centrally managed with InControl 2.
