What is FedEx SmartPost?

FedEx SmartPost is a unique and affordable shipping option available to residential or commercial customers in select circumstances. FedEx picks up the shipment from 3Gstore and then delivers the package to a USPS facility close to the delivery address for final delivery to the customer by a postal carrier. This alternative to FedEx Ground/Home allows us to ship to PO Boxes and Military addresses without issue (FedEx typically requires a physical address to deliver to, which is a problem for some customers).

Transit times vary based on location, but SmartPost shipments are typically delivered in 4-9 business days (shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may take longer). SmartPost shipments are delivered Monday-Saturday, just like US Mail.

If you select SmartPost for your shipment, you will receive two tracking numbers: one to track the package from the time it leaves 3Gstore's warehouse to its arrival at the local USPS facility (the FedEx leg of the journey), and a second that allows you to track the package from the USPS facility to the delivery location.
