- "G" routers provide a WiFi range of approximately 30-80ft through walls, much greater unobstructed (variable depending on interference from other electronics and physical interference such as thick walls). For information about maximizing your router's WiFi range, check out this Tip of the Week: Maximizing Your Cradlepoint Router's WiFi Range
- "N" routers provide a WiFi range of approximately 100-150ft through walls, much greater unobstructed (variable depending on interference from other electronics and physical interference such as thick walls). For information about maximizing your router's WiFi range, check out this Tip of the Week: Maximizing Your Cradlepoint Router's WiFi Range
- WiFi antennas must be used in PAIRS on the MBR1200
- For more information on load balancing, view this article: Load Balancing with Cradlepoint Routers
- There are two versions of the PHS300 - the one sold by 3Gstore has the REVISION 2.0 hardware. This is the latest version that supports 3G AND 4G WiMAX modems (not LTE). Many other resellers are selling the 3G-ONLY version of the PHS300, which does not (and will never) support WiMAX modems!
- WiFi antennas must be used in sets of THREE on the MBR1400
- The CTR35 does not have "true" WiFi N - the range is improved over wireless G, but is not equal to true wireless N range/speeds
This is exactly why I bought from the 3gstore. Their own CD and documentation to get me up and running painlessly and someone knowledgeable to talk to when I have a question or problem.
