Mobile Broadband Sales & Support Rep

Chicago-based company is seeking a sales team member with stellar communication skills both verbal and written. We are a virtual company with most employees telecommuting, but we operate similarly to a "traditional" office: employees work set hours (Mon-Fri, no nights or weekends, paid holidays, paid vacations, health/dental/life insurance, 401K, etc.) and use a Cisco IP phone (we provide), email, and iChat to stay connected.  While this is a work from home job, it is NOT a flexible position - this is a regular full-time position with set hours. You must have the discipline to work from home, be able to work well with others, get tasks completed on time, have the ability to multi-task between daily work load and assigned projects, and exceptional writing abilities.

Your job will consist of taking inbound phone calls and helping customers choose the correct products for their mobile broadband needs (aircards/service, routers, antennas, etc). You will be also responsible for writing content on our web sites and working on our company websites (updating product descriptions, working on the back end of our online store, etc). This position does NOT involve outbound sales or cold calling, and we do not work on commission.  Also, you will also become a Support rep and help previous customers, so the more technical you are the better fit you will have here.

3Gstore.com offers the highest level of technical support (before/during and after the sale) and we are looking for someone that can continue with that tradition.

Requirements: A reliable high-speed internet connection and router are required to use our Cisco IP Phone (we provide phone), as well as a reliable Windows and/or Mac computer.

Desired qualifications: Writing talent, basic web skills (HTML), basic graphics skills (Photoshop), experience with content management systems (joomla, etc), interest in mobile broadband technology and products, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task and "change gears" between helping customers and working on other assigned projects. Advanced mobile broadband or other technical knowledge is NOT a requirement if all other qualifications are met, but you must be willing to learn and be a quick learner!
