The Wilson Desktop Antenna (part number 301208) is intended for use as an interior antenna in a wireless repeater setup. If you are looking for a portable directly-connected antenna, we recommend the Booster Antenna.

This directional antenna is the perfect no-installation interior option for wireless repeater setups in small offices, condos, dorm rooms, or RVs. It is similar to the 301135 panel antenna but requires no mounting/installation and provides a smaller signal range. For larger applications, the panel antenna is recommended.
