Wilson Cellular SIGNALBOOST with Cradle Amplifier Kit for MiFi (3G only - will not boost 4G)

The Wilson SignalBoost will only boost 3G signal, not 4G - if you are using it with Sprint's MiFi 4082 or Verizon's MiFi 4510L, you can improve the 3G signal, but the 4G signal will NOT be affected.

The Signalboost with Cradle is a powerful all-in-one kit that is typically suited for mobile users but can be used at home with an optional AC adapter. It's more powerful than the MobilePro and doesn't require permanent installation. The kit includes an amplifier, magnetic mount antenna, DC car charger, and cradle for your MiFi (or cell phone).

Pro's:

Con's:

• Boosts signal to only one device at a time (device must be in the cradle)
• If you want to use the SignalBoost with Cradle at home, you must purchase the AC adapter and note that the cable connecting the magnetic mount antenna to the amplifier is only 10' (that is plenty of length for mobile use, but may not be ideal for home use).

Bottom Line: Mobile users looking for a more powerful option than the MobilePro will love the SignalBoost with Cradle, and the option of adding the AC adapter makes using it at home a possibility too. Unlike most repeaters, though, this kit can only provide a boost to ONE device at a time (whichever device is in the cradle), so if you're hoping to boost the signal to your MiFi and cell phones at the same time, this would not be the best option.

How the unit functions:

The 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular signal from the cell site is received by the Magnetic mount exterior antenna (301103). The signal is then amplified and transmitted to your MiFi through the included Wilson Cellular Cell Phone Cradle Plus. When the MiFi transmits back to cell tower, the signal is amplified and sent to the cell site through the outside magmount antenna.
