These antennas are for INDOOR use. They are not weather-proof and are not intended to be used outdoors.

This bundle contains everything you need to get the greatest WiFi range possible from the Cradlepoint MBR1200 (IMPORTANT: these are for the original MBR1200 only - they are NOT compatible with the new MBR1200B!)! The MBR1200 requires antennas to be used in PAIRS - this bundle includes 2 antennas, 2 extension cables, and 2 adapters. The Hawking Technology HAI15SC 2.4GHz Hi-Gain Wireless Corner Antennas will boost your Cradlepoint MBR1200 WIFI wireless signal strength to cover more than double the distance away from the router!

When used with the MBR1200, these Hi-Gain Corner Antennas are the perfect solution for providing WiFi signal coverage in very large rooms, conference halls or buildings. The high power level of the antenna ensures that most every corner of your application will be covered.

Important Notes:

The Hawking antennas (2 included in this bundle) include permanently attached 5ft long low loss cable w/ SMA connector
Included in this bundle are two 7' extension cables, one for each antenna (to give you more installation/positioning options)

With clear line of sight, we anticipate that an MBR1200 with directional antennas can shoot signal across to either another MBR1200 with the same antennas (or even an MBR1000) and traverse 200ft or more between buildings (assuming minimal electrical interference and physical obstructions on both ends of wireless transmission). Many, many variables will affect effective range between router and receiving equipment... how much distance any customer will see is truly a "case by case" scenario.

We are full time RVers so I purchased this to help improve the free wifi that RV parks offer. So far, I haven't really seen much improvement, but I'm not sure if it's the antenna or the typically horrible wifi in RV parks. I think I will purchase a omnidirectional roof mounted antenna next.

Extended the range of my indoor wi-fi about 50ft Does not extend pass kitchen wall beyond 50ft to outdoors. It did help me do what I needed to do. Could use more range for future setup.

Very good. My wifi signal was one bar and dropped me repeatedly. Now it has full bars and is as fast as the wifi can be.

I bought this with the Pepwave and felt assured that I would be able to pick up my neighbours wifi, he is about 1700 ft away, but it wouldn't pick it up, why..............As I was too late in trying it my return time frame had expired, so............it's back in their boxes and sitting in a cupboard. Cheers

Looking at the 14 support calls you placed in with us, many of them were 2 months after delivered. I do see the last support note that indicates: "PEPWave with the hawking antenna, he can pick up a marina miles away and even get into the login page., but cannot pick up his neighbor 2000 feet away,". It may be that the neighbor has Mac Address protecting who can login??

Looks like it would work really well, however, there doesn't seem to be enough improvement to warrant the price. Does increase range a little though.

It's an antenna, I plug it in, aim it in the general direction of the source, and it works.

Not sure if these antennas helped to increase coverage or not, but the adapter cable that you provide with a 90 degree angle where they plug into the mbr1200 stinks. It is too fragile a connection because it impenges on the case slightly. A straight connection would be much better.
