Does exactly what I was looking for; remote reboot of a semi-reliable DSL modem and Linksys router. I have the unit configured to reboot these two devices if internet access is lost (via auto-ping). And, as a back-up to that, it is also configured to re-boot these devices every Mon and Thursday at 1am.

Solid. Works as advertised. I also use it to switch AC circuits controlled by a Python script (UIS feature off). No documentation on how to do that, but not too hard to figure out. Works with Safari, but some glitches in display. Windows-centric design, documentation, and testing. Recommendations to manufacturer: test with OS X, Safari, test firmware more rigorously in general. However, it is better than many web appliances in this regard, just not as good as the best (e.g., Axis IP cameras).

Oops, forgot to mention one other thing that REALLY needs to be fixed on this, the email capabilities. It does work great as-is, however it sends an email alert for each and EVERY single item that pops up into the log. There should be a way to limit these alerts. I was getting a LOT of emails from this and had to shut the feature off. Would be nice to be able to select which events trigger an email. I just want to know when the switch was reset due to internet loss, that's it. Not every time a web address can't be resolved. Also, it seems that an email is sent out for each individual line in the log, even if the cause is one item. For example, in simulating a connection loss, I get separate emails for each of the web sites that times out, then as each outlet shuts, down, then as each switch starts up again, etc.... a little excessive to make the feature useful in my case anyway. Still a FANTASTIC product though and does what it's supposed to very reliably!

Switch works very well, does exactly what they say it does (and what I was looking for). Very easy to setup and get running, can't complain about anything about this little guy. Only thin preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the price. It's lower priced than any of it's competition, but still a little expensive for what it is. Nevertheless, it's a great device and works extremely well for me!

This is what I needed. Overall excellent product. Don't get your feelings hurt because only four stars. Add a better remote interface, better than MSN messenger - consider some type of web interface like MiCasaVerde's Vera Lite that I can remotely lock doors and turn on lights with at my vacation home. Also this is one of those rare occasions I have to use a PC. Make it usable on Mac please. Make these improvements and I give it seven stars. Thanks for a great product.

Lowest cost switch I was able to find. Has better features then others of much higher cost. I provide wifi systems for hotels and need a remote switch. The automatic reset was a plus and works excellent. I am currently in discussions to renew contracts and if they go through I will definitely buy more of these!

Good product. Easy to set up. Works well. Most importantly, only 3G carried it.
Shipping was super fast but increased the purchase price by 50%. 3G really needs to provide cheaper shipping options before I will be back.

Unfortunately, express shipping to Canada from the US simply isn't cheap :( We do get heavy discounts from FedEx, though, so our shipping costs are actually lower than what you'd get from FedEx directly.
