I gained 1 bar in signal strength. It's in the middle of the house. I haven't even tried it near a window. Good enough for me for the price.

Has helped somewhat. Went from 1-2 bars up to 3 bars most of the time. Too many trees in my yard so not the fault of the antenna.

Overall, I am pleased with the product...I bought it to go with my Novatel USB760 aircard and prior to the purchase, I was seeing a signal strength of about 103-107 (1 bar)...with this booster antenna, I've managed to get my signal down to about 94-98 (2, occasionally 3 bars)...so it basically gave me 10 better points for my signal. I was hoping for a little bit more, but there is definitely an improvement- so if you live in the middle of no where like me and your internet signal is weak, you should see some degree of improvement with this item...

Definitely helps boost my hotspot signal. Went from E at 5 bars to 4G at 1 or 2 bars which really makes the internet faster.

I tested as suggested first and found my system in need of booster. The unit arrived on time and in good condition. I had to place it just so in my window in order to receive the best reception. Lower corner of aluminum window, center so as to use the window for antennas booster. Have the best reception ever lower 70’s thanks 3g for your help!

Antenna have strange but nice design. It has 3 types of mounting - rotating plank at bottom allows it to be placed on horizontal plane surface; two tiny suction cups could be used to stick to some vertical surface; or you could just throw it somewhere. Do not expect miracle from this one - it makes signal slightly better (sometimes - substantially better), but will not fix serious issues if you have any.
Without antenna, I have a bad signal reception, probably because unlucky location in office. With antenna, in most cases, I have a slightly better reception. In one terminal case I had 4 times better network speed, but this could be outlier.

I am pleased with the performance of this antenna as it has helped more than I expected. Since I live in a rural areas with Verizon as the only local wireless provider and other services for Internet connection such as DSL or cable are not available I'm kind of stuck with what I have which has been extremely poor reception especially after Verizon purchased Alltel (my previous provider). Yes, I used Hughes.net for five years. Their service was worse than the approx. 200 Kb download speed that I was averaging with Verizon until I got this antenna.
As soon as I made the antenna connection to my plug-in modem I realized an instant increase in download speed. This I’ve verified through several testing websites which I continue to record. However, the initial gain wasn’t good enough for uninterrupted videos such as those posted on YouTube.
After trying the antenna in various locations I found that if I placed it high in a room and parallel within inches (through the ceiling) of the main electrical wire bundle from my electrical panel that I get the best reception which is now averaging of 600 Kb. O.K. so this may not seem like much to the majority of those people who are used to 10 Mb or more, but for me this means my time is not now wasted using the Internet as it had been so much in the past. It also means that my wife’s new Kindle Fire will play streaming videos without interruption via the Cradlepoint MBR1000 router (also from the 3G Store) which conveniently allows the modem to be plugged directly into.
This antenna may look like something from the local dollar store but it satisfies my requirement with relatively little investment. I highly recommend it for those who have poor wireless reception using a plug-in air card.

I have had this booster antenna for about 3 weeks now and am very satisfied with it. I was only getting 1 maybe 2 bars with my aircard prior to purchasing the antenna. Now I am consistantly getting three to four bars, making using the internet much more enjoyable. I would recommend this antenna.
