I am very happy with the performance of the antenna.

Even after reading the prior reviews, I was skeptical first about the quality of the product, and more importantly of whether it could help my problem. Let me deal with the first concern first: the antenna is made by Wilson and I was extremely impressed with the build quality, the packaging, the instructions---all first rate. Installation was through the roof of my motorcoach. The National Weather Service is reporting a heat index of 104 here today, so I was dreading climbing on the roof and installing the antennas (I bought two as I have both a Sprint and a Verizon aircard) but it was straightforward; much easier than I anticipated. Took about 30 minutes for both antennas.
As to performance, I'm just amazed. I'm currently parked at Isla Blanca RV park at South Padre Island, Texas. I had been unable to get a Sprint connection at all and my Verizon would grudgingly give me poor and unreliable EVDO service. Now, with the antennas connected, I get four bars and -40db LTE reliably on the Verizon, and two bars -80db on the Sprint. The Sprint is EVDO and a bit flaky, but I couldn't get it at all before, even having tried taking the Cradelpoint 1200 router with the aircards up onto the roof (I was desperate!) so getting even mediocre Sprint speeds is a huge improvement.
I can't say enough about these. Highly recommended.

This item was not hard to install. The installation instructions were clear and concise. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the antenna did not perform as well as I had hoped. As a full time RV'er I get into a lot of fringe area's, so my signal will often drop from 4G to 3G and lower. So far, the antenna has kept me from losing signal all together, but has done little to 'speed' the connection up. I'm now looking to 'amplify' the digital signal for better results.

This antenna is very well made, and works well when installed, but it is the installation that can be difficult, especially for one person. The reason for this is that there are nuts on both ends of the threaded rod that extends through the roof. These nuts allow for adjustments to be made to accomodate the thickness of your particular roof and attic space (my application is on a motorhome). Tightening these nuts by one person takes some ingenuity, as the one not being tightened will tend to move when the other one is turned. Other than that, I am happy with the antenna, and it has increased my signal strength substantially. I anticipate an even stronger, consistent signal once I connect the antenna to a signal booster, but the one I want isn't in the stores yet.

I use this antenna with a Verizon modem and the combination works well. It is installed on a motorcoach and the installation was quite simple. No issues with this product.
