IMPORTANT SIGNAL INFORMATION: If you're purchasing an amplifier for use at one specific location, we strongly recommend doing a site survey first to determine whether the amplifier will help you and to give you an idea of what kind of results you can expect from it.

If your signal is extremely poor (-108db or worse), an amplifier may not be effective - there must be some usable signal available for the amplifier to boost. Conversely, if the signal is too STRONG at your location (-50db or better), the amplifier may shut down to avoid interference with the tower.

The AG Pro 75 is a dual-band, installer-friendly booster designed to provide a strong cellular signal inside a building up to 15,000 square feet (may be more or less depending on outdoor signal, building layout, etc). The model is Wilson Electronics' first cellular signal booster to feature an adjustable gain control that allows the installer to optimize the unit's gain to match the requirements of the building in which it is deployed. The adjustable gain feature also simplifies installation by making antenna placement less critical (i.e. if your application cannot accommodate the recommended 70' of separation, the gain can be adjusted on the amplifier).

The AG Pro 75 is the highest gain signal booster Wilson has released to date. The unit delivers a maximum gain of 75dB at 1900 MHz and 70dB at 800 MHz. The product includes Wilson's patented oscillation and cell site overload protection, and proximity detection technologies to prevent interference on the cellular network.

How it works: The outside antenna (sold separately) picks up the cellular signal and sends it through a cable (sold separately) to the amplifier. The signal is then boosted and sent through a cable (sold separately) to the inside antenna (sold separately), which rebroadcasts the boosted signal. All of your modems/phones within range of the inside antenna can benefit from the boosted signal wirelessly.


*Many factors will influence the actual coverage area you will see from a repeater, including layout/floorplan, construction, and original un-amplified signal strength. Depending on your situation, you may see more or less coverage than the estimates listed here. It is not possible to guarantee coverage area.

Installation notes:

  • In order for your system to function properly, you must maintain adequate separation between the outside and inside antennas (if the antennas are too close together, there will be oscillation/feedback between the antennas and the amplifier will shut down). This amplifier requires approximately 70' of separation between the outside and inside antennas (if you are using an omnidirectional antenna as the outside antenna, you will need more separation than directional antenna users will need). Separation can be horizontal or vertical.
  • If you cannot achieve adequate separation to eliminate oscillation, you can turn down the gain on the amplifier, but that will result in a smaller coverage area from the amplifier.
  • The interior antenna should be at least 10' away from the amplifier.
  • If you are using a panel antenna as the interior antenna, make sure it is aimed AWAY from the outside antenna.
