previously had a balance 30 (purchased from 3Gstore about 4yrs ago) which quit working, so I replaced it with this Balance 20 - I was pleasantly surprised it had 2 WANs and 1 USB (was anticipating 1 WAN/ 1 USB) . The changes that Peplink made on this newer hardware were obvious - noticed a better thruput than before (especially regarding videos). Software is also definitely an improvement. Only downside was that the documentation I was sent for the router, from 3Gstore techs, was an older version. Although, after talking with Pepwave I was told to register the device on their website and I'd be able to download the new docs. It turned out that 3Gstore did have these newer docs, so not sure why that happened. The other thing I noticed was an issue with my cable modem when I first tried setting up this router - I found that it had still stored the WAN IP and MAC address from the older Balance 30 and in order for it to finally connect I had to reset the modem.

Not much to say other than this router works well so far - no problems, can't complain

The router works great. Been using it in camper in AZ using WiFi access point and VOIP phone. Only problem is slow 3G speeds!

I bought the Peplink Balance 20 to replace a Cradlepoint MBR-1000 Router. The Peplink is a huge upgrade to the Cradlepoint, it works great, no complaints at all. You can tell as soon as you get it our of the box that you have a high quality product in your hands.
I ran into a small problem when I plugged everything in, but it was MY fault and not the router. The excellent support from 3GStore and Peplink helped me resolved my issue. By the way, if you are going to use a Verizon UML290 Modem. MAKE SURE that you use the Pantech utility to lock the Modem either in 3G or LTE, because the Router does not auto switch with this particular Modem. The Pantech utility for the UML290 can be downloaded. For my wireless devices I connected a wireless router set as an "Access Point" to one of the Peplink's Network Ports.
I will definitely recommend a Peplink. Oh! and the usage reports it generates are AWESOME!

I am very pleased with the Peplink 20 router. While it was a little more expensive that other products I looked at, it had good reviews and seemed to better address my needs.
I received and installed the router in under an hour (including updating the firmware) and it’s been running without any problems. It’s only been in service for about 2 weeks, so I can’t report on long term use yet.
The product seems to be will build and I like the browser based configuration and monitoring tools.
I am a software engineer with some network experience and I found it to be easy to install.
Currently I have two DSL WAN lines connected and the usage between them seems well balances and no client side issues at all. I am going to add a 3rd cellular connection (via USB port) as a backup.
