Wilson Outdoor Weatherproof Directional Panel Antenna - 304453/301157 (Cables Sold Separately)

I was not sure the antenna would help me but after doing a site survey with my Mifi 4510L from Verizon I thought it might. I also purchased the amplifier and my signal went from a poor -95 to a good -55 on average. I am in a remote area of Missouri by Lake of the Ozarks. I can not get a more reasonable signal and internet as there is nothing else available. In the summer I can not take an extra day at out Lake house and still get my work done. Product arrived quickly and is well made. I am using this antenna with 30ft of 400lmr cable connected to the AT&T Elevate 4g hotspot. Before this I was using an older UM150 Pantech data card in the MBR1000 router. I was averaging 300kbs both ways. Now I am at 3megs-4megs down and 400kbs up. I am in heaven!!! Great product!!!

Best thing that we have done for our connectivity! We are on Anegada, a small island in the Caribbean. Miraculously, we have 3G internet. However, the cell tower is near the other end of the island, and we were accustomed to having spotty service. I installed this antenna yesterday, and our speeds immediately doubled and we have had 100% uptime since. Our signal went from -91dBm to -79dBm. We have the antenna inside, sitting on a bookshelf. If I move it to a window, the signal improves by another 2 to 3 dBm.

Well built, works as described. I would recommend if you need just a little boost in your 4G signal.

I live about 20 miles south of Grand Rapids. No cable internet. No DSL is available. Had satellite internet and it was horrible. We bought the MiFi from Verizon and had better service than satellite, but my son told me about the antenna and I bought it. Customer service called and discussed my order and said I could use a different cable for the antenna. I was shocked to see the box on the front porch the NEXT DAY. I connected it and just set it at seat cushion height in a window. Amazing! It is already 60-70% better. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Outstanding product - works perfectly. Easy installation. Signal strength increased from 1-2 bars to 5, RSSI from -94 to -71. Highly recommended.

My signal had degraded for some reason. I did a "survey" and found that by moving my modem(verizon/pantech 175) only 15 ft the signal was stronger, and stable. I have no experience with any other products, so I can't compare, but I now have a good(-73db) signal, and good speed up/down. Thanks 3G store, good customer service,advice,shipping(I got the special$4.99rate), and price. I hope I don't NEED to upgrade again, but if I do I know to go to 3gstore.com.

Purchased this directional antenna a week or so ago and finally got it set up. I have it approximately 30 feet in the air in an area that gets little to no reception. I am beyond amazed at how much it truly helped out in signal gain and reception for my wireless internet. I have been trying for over a year to find the right combination of antenna with booster and cable, and finally I think I have it pretty well set up the best it can possibly get. Although calling my service provider that I have my service through to find the antenna tower nearest me did me no good, I was still able to find the best direction through trial and error of rotating the antenna 360 degrees until I was satisfied in where it is at now. A small angle off and signal will be effected which made it much simpler to locate the best 3G tower in the neighborhood, which isn't the one that it is suppose to be. Previously, I had been using an omnidirectional antenna about 25 feet up, but it still wasn't as good as reception can get and it seemed that the signal kept fluctuating too much. It was, with this antenna my signal stays full all the time with no loss what so ever. However, how high up you have the antenna DOES make a difference. I hooked this antenna up as soon as I got it and just pointed it all around and my signal still around where it normally was with my other antenna. It wasn't until today when I scaled my antenna tower to hook it up there that I'm cruising over 1Mbps on the internet now which is the amazing considering the best I pushed from it before was roughly 400Kbps. I recommend this antenna to those that are serious about getting reception in poor areas and are willing to put the work into setting it up for optimal performance.

Well built and works as advertised. My Verizon 3G RSSI went from about -100 to -84...huge difference in connection stability and somewhat faster speeds, too (0.10 Mbps to about 0.50 Mbps). Still clinging to the edge of mobile broadband civilization, but when 4G rolls out around here the unit (and I) will be ready for 700mhz. Great customer service as always.

Excellent antenna! I'm in a fringe 4g area(Verizon 700Mhz). I can't get 4g anywhere around my house but I can get a faint signal on my phone while standing on the roof. So I bought this antenna along with an amplifier and an indoor panel antenna. I just aimed it in the direction that I thought the closest cell tower was according to verizons coverage maps and bingo! I now have 4g everywhere in my house. Please note, the directions included aren't there for looks. They are very serious. When they give you instructions on distances and directions to place antennas, they mean it. The There is a dead space directly under these antenna where there is no signal. I was able to leverage this "dead zone" for amplifier locations to avoid oscillation. My outdoor antenna was far enough away and at one far end of the house so I was able to have the proper distance, and was able to face them away from eachother. The Amplifier, i was limited to in mounting locations. Being 20ft away will do the trick, but I was able to mount it directly under the panel antenna about 3 feet away and not get oscillation. I ordered an antenna adapter for my phone to plug into this antenna to better zero in on the exact location of the cell tower. Once that comes in, i might purchase a yagi to get little higher gain. It works great and I have a good signal, but my speeds over 4g could be better with a stronger reciever since I'm SO FAR away from the tower. In the city I can get 10Mbit downloads but only 4Mbits in the house. It could be that I'm not aimed properly either. I'll report back when I find out. Either way I'm very pleased.
