The Marine Antenna improves signal for voice and data (1xRTT, EVDO Rev-0, EVDO Rev-A, EDGE [AT&T 2G], HSPA [AT&T 3G]). The signal "gain" users see with the Marine Antenns is variable and dependent upon available signal in the area, interference, etc. Before buying any antenna, we encourage customers to read this article: Will an Antenna Help Me?.
Cabling and Adapter Cables:
This antenna does NOT include cabling. You must select a length of cable from the below list (for the ultra-low-loss cabling, we bundle the necessary connector along with the cable!). If you already have the appropriate cable for this antenna, you may select the "I already have a cable" option.
You will also need an adapter cable to connect this antenna to your device or direct-connect amplifier. If you already have the adapter cable for your device or will be using it with a wireless repeater, you may select the "I already have an adapter cable" option.
This antenna is made for outdoor use and is capable of holding up to a marine salt water environment. It should be mounted as high as possible in order to minimize obstruction between the antenna and the cell tower. The antenna may be mounted to a pole or to a flat surface (mounting hardware is included, pole/mast not included). An optional female to female (1"x14 threaded) ferrule allows a connection to many standard marine mounts.
