Only knock I would give is having to use different antennas for 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz. Inserted sim from an unused smartphone and consistently seeing 35 Mb down / 20 Mb up with peaks of 50 Mb down / 35 Mb up.

I’d highly recommend that you guys recommend anyone getting an ARC modem that they sign up for their data plan through you guys rather than do it on their own. It was a fairly frustrating procedure with Verizon and the first CSR really steered me wrong and this caused a lot of extra time in the phone queue. We finally did get everything set up (I just put a 4G card on my existing phone plan and will pay a little extra for GB/s until I can get on a business plan).
Things are working great with both the Router and 4G service. No network problems whatsoever and I’m pretty constantly pulling about 15 Mb/s down from a 4G tower located 16 miles away from me. Very nice!

Seems to work fine. Obtaining a SIM card and activating it was a bit perplexing. After considerable trial and error, the Verizon store was eventually able to get me up and running. It won't run on a shared data plan, but the plans available for it are reasonable. I've been using it about 2 weeks and so far I am pleased with the product. I'd give it 5 stars if it had been easier to get up and running with a SIM card.

Got the device in my hands today and got it up and running. Everything is working well so far. Initial speedtest results are at least as good as we had before, and in some instances better. Setup was fairly simple, and it's certainly made our network configuration (that changes regularly from project/location) simplified, while adding robustness and flexibility. We'll continue using it and evaluating it, but initial use is pretty promising.

The router arrived on-time and double-boxed. Now granted, the router came in two boxes (since I also purchased the modem cap) and so they had to put them both in another box, but still I appreciate when a vendor double-boxes their products so you can’t see the item name on the outside during shipment.
The manufacturer directions were clear concerning how to attach the modem cap to the router. However, 3GStore did not include the special screwdriver that was necessary to screw the cap into the router. This wasn’t a big deal for me since I didn’t really need to secure the cap and router and they attach tightly without the screws. But 3GStore did say that the special screwdriver would be included so I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t. And I would have used the screws had it come with the screwdriver.
The modem cap was the Verizon model so I needed to purchase a 4G SIM card. Verizon considers the cap a full non-contract price purchase so there is no contract required with the 4G SIM card and is paid month to month. In my case, I simply needed to email our Verizon Account Rep and have her add the service and ship me the SIM.
Installing the SIM was a simple matter. But I did have to look in the manual to see which way to put it in the slot. Thankfully there were pictures and it was very clear.
The router and modem cap worked flawlessly right from the start. The modem cap connected to the Verizon LTE network with full bars from inside my office building and not near a window. This is better than the USB LTE modems that we use, which typically get less bars from the same location. I figure the stronger signal is due to the two large antennas on the modem cap.
The led indicator lights on the router are bright and intuitively designed. It’s nice to be able to check at a glance the status of the connections. The routers case is also very sturdy feeling. It’s not cheap plastic.
The admin interface for the router is cleanly laid out and easy to navigate. I have worked with a lot of different wireless routers from various manufactures and on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being the best) I would give CradlePoint a 4.5 in most aspects of the interface. It also seems to have a pretty fast processor since moving around was pretty quick.
This router and cap when into a 6400sq foot facility and had no problem delivering wireless coverage throughout except for a few users in one farthest corner who had occasional drop-outs. I will likely need to get a repeater for them. It is servicing about 30-40 wireless clients along with about 20 wired clients simultaneously.
I have the router set up to use the Verizon LTE network as the primary internet connection but also have two additional DLS lines that I am using as failover backup. I have had the router in use for about a week and a half now and overall I am very pleased with it.
I would give the router 4.5 stars overall, but since I don’t have the option I will roundup and give it 5 stars.
3Gstore Comments:
Thanks for the detailed review.
We don't include a screwdriver nor does CradlePoint. It is clearly mentioned on our web site that you only get "Mounting Screws". I did research and your order was placed online vs. calling us, asked around and everyone here knew that a screwdriver wasn't included. Just get an T10 Torx screwdriver and you should be good to go (T9 also will work).
We LOVE customer feedback. We will be stocking the correct T10 screwdriver within a week to make it easier for future customers that may not have the T10. Thanks again!
