The 200mbps Powerline adapter takes advantage of your home's existing electrical wires to transfer data while simultaneously transferring traditional power. That means, with no additional wiring required, users can simply plug the powerline into existing power sockets and instantly establish a networking infrastructure. With high-speed data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps, users can enjoy HD video streaming, online gaming, VoIP or any other bandwidth intensive tasks for work or play.

How it works: The Powerline adapter uses your power lines (AC Outlets) to become ethernet cables. Each Powerline kit comes with 2 Powerline adapters and 2 ethernet cables. One adapter plugs into your router and the other one into your other ethernet-enabled device (you can keep adding more Powerline devices - sold separately - for multiple devices). Setup is a breeze. Plug the first adapter into the wall and run the ethernet cable (included) to your existing router or switch. Press the “Pair” button and then you have 2 minutes to connect your second device. Press the “Pair” button on the 2nd Powerline adapter for 8 seconds and that's it! Your device is now connected to your network using the AC power lines in your house instead of ethernet cables!
