The SureCall Wide-Band Antenna is for users who live or work in buildings that have substandard cellular service. This directional outdoor antenna requires careful aiming to point at the nearest cell tower for your provider, but when installed properly, it can provide high signal gains for 3G/4G/LTE on many U.S. carriers. It can also boost 2G/3G voice signal on networks including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Coverage is provided for many network frequencies in the 700 to 2700 MHz range, though you will want to confirm with your provider if you are on a smaller carrier.

The Yagi wide-band antenna is designed for stationary outdoor use with a sealed ABS plastic housing and stainless steel backplate that resists moisture and UV rays. It works best when mounted to a pipe or pole using the included hardware. SureCall has been making cell phone antennas and boosters since 2001, and their Yagi antennas for sale at 5GStore are an effective solution when good signals are just out of reach. You can choose from a number of low-loss cables and adapters that attach to the integrated N/Female connector and will link to your specific modem, aircard or repeater.

I live way out in the boonies, and VZ is the only reasonable internet available. I'm on the very edge of service. I added this antenna to my Pepwave mbr1 alongside an omni-directional antenna. Aimed in my best approximation of the tower, these are my gains:

RSSI - 10-15dB (to 65avg)
SNR - 5-10dB
RSRP - 15-20db (from 110 before to 90)
RSRQ - ~5dB (up and down a lot)

Prefacing the speed results; Verizon service in the area is still an issue in general. I went from an average of 3Mbps (8Mbps Peak) to an average of 7Mbps (20Mbps Peak). Not exceptional, but MUCH more usable than before.

I had an omni antenna. Changed to the Yagi and my data download went from 3meg to 5.6meg with this ONE SIMPLE change. Pointing it in the right direction is critical.

I got one of these in the 65dB Amp kit, and it all works beautifully. The Cellphone-Mate 65dB amp kit with this yagi performs significantly better than the Wilson amp and the previous yagi antenna offered on this site. It's probably all due to the extra 15dB of the new amp (and higher-quality antenna cables that come with the new kit, as well), but certainly, this antenna does it's job well. I highly recommend the kit, by the way.

Would I need to use 2x SureCall Yagi antennas with the Peplink MAX BR1 Mini, or just one?

Dual yagi setups are recommended and typically installed as shown here: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ogO6uGr5wJw/hqdefault.jpg
