The CradlePoint COR Series is built for your M2M network. It’s an affordable, highly-featured, compact router designed for critical business and enterprise applications that require 24x7 connectivity. The router features a built-in high-speed Verizon 3G EV-DO and 4G LTE modem (requires an activated Verizon SIM card) as well as support for wired networks such as DSL or Cable. With its compact size, sleek metal case, mounting bracket, external Mobile Broadband and WiFi antennas, COR is ideal for use in high-availability portable or fixed applications like ATMs, kiosks, surveillance, vehicles, etc.

Increase your internet availability and ensure maximum uptime with business continuity features like failover / failback standard in CradlePoint COR. When configured, the router detects network failures and seamlessly switches over to another active connected network(s) - keeping your network online. Additionally, COR is ideal for deployment as a primary connection solution where wired internet is not available. COR also provides secure and reliable VPN functionality, allowing users to create, manage and terminate up to 5 concurrent IPSec VPN sessions. It allows for secure access to company networks for enterprise applications and provides a secure way to transmit sensitive data to and from a remote site.

This unit is allowing my husband and I to browse the web together, at the same time, both with JavaScript enabled, on Verizon. Previously we had to use two separate units and even then the browsing was spotty. We even disabled JavaScript part of the time, but it was like pulling teeth to get anything in our browsers. What we don't understand is why Verizon sells pieces of garbage on their own website. If I hadn't read a strong recommendation for this unit, on the Verizon community forum, we would have been using another ISP by now. It is true that this unit costs twice what the units for sale on Verizon's website cost, but it actually works, all of the time.

This appears, in the two weeks I have been using it, to be a fine product with one glaring exception. You cannot set it (or if you can I have not figured out how to) to refuse international roaming connections. The LTE connection status page indicates roaming status (the EVDO page does not) so it is plain that the device has the information it needs to prevent the connection, at least in the LTE case. And, if my iPhone can do this, this IBR600LE can do it too. I live near the Canadian border. There is no Canadian LTE nearby so I am, for the moment, safe from unconscionable international data roaming charges by allowing LTE only connections, the use of a Wilson LPA aimed in the general direction of the tower (you don't need line of sight to a tower to benefit from a directional antenna) and an 'international LTE block' from Verizon but as any reader knows what a cell phone company's agent tells you will happen and what happens are often quite different. Now perhaps only a small segment of Cradlepoint's customer base is in my situation and so perhaps why this very important (to me) capability has been neglected. Were it not for this I wouldn't hesitate to give a 5 star rating to this device. WIth this major shortcoming I can only award 3.

3Gstore Comments:
We agree - that should definitely be possible within the router. We're doing some research for you and we are contacting you via email to discuss the issue further. Thanks for the feedback!

Excellent product. Fast speeds. Very fast in acquiring Verizon signal. No constant disconnects like that of the MiFi 4620L. Build quality is top notch. Best CradlePoint router I have used.

It's tiny but powerful! Even better, the support from both 3GStore and from Cradlepoint has been truly outstanding. My Verizon SIM was giving me a problem and the white-glove service from 3GStore and the very skilled tech support had it all sorted out very quickly. Extremely happy with my purchase and my ability to use this model as an IP Passthrough device to my edge firewall.

Killer unit, never had high speed internet before this setup. Paid Hughes Net big bucks for super slow, balky, intermittent satellite service, can't get DSL or cable in our area. Now have 7 up and 9 down almost all the time! Faster than DSL at the office! Love this unit! We have it rigged to an external directional flat panel antenna on top of a 8 foot pole on roof with 50' of ultra low loss cable. WELL worth the high cost and a thousand times better that Verizon MyFi junk units. You get what you pay for.

Fantastic performance, great size and the performance of the included 700Mhz antennas for Verizon LTE have incredible gain.

I see where this does support port forwarding and VPN, but do you need a static IP from verizon for this to work. My mifi and current cradlepoint does not allow me to create a VPN because I have a private IP on verizon 4gLTE
My current 4G router (MBR1515) disconnects from the network often. Will this be able to maintain a constant connection without interruption?
Will this work with WiFi networks that have a login page or other splash page?
Can I use a SIM from a different provider?
Does this router support port forwarding?
Can I use this router with cable/DSL too or just 3G/4G?
Does this support VPN?
