Cradlepoint ARC MBR1400 With Embedded AT&T 3G/4G Modem - DISCONTINUED

No Longer Available

Item Number: 3878

This router has been discontinued and replaced by the multi-band MBR1400LPE-AT

The CradlePoint ARC MBR1400 Integrated Business Series Routers enable easy-to-install wireless connectivity in fixed business locations. It combines the MBR1400 router as well as an AT&T 3G/4G (HSPA/LTE) modem cap, making it ideal for distributed enterprises such as branch offices, retail POS locations, restaurants, and small businesses. The ARC MBR1400LP-AT provides wired Ethernet and 3G/4G wireless WAN connectivity to keep your business up and running.

Fast Facts About This Product:

  • This router is best for: The ARC MBR1400 is ideal for business and enterprise applications where the need for "always on" connectivity is a must; perfect for businesses who want an all-in-one solution, since the 3G/4G modem chip is built into the router's "modem cap" - no need for a separate aircard, just insert your activated SIM card right into the modem cap!
  • Internet Connections Supported: 1 Embedded 3G/4G, 5 Wired WAN, 1 USB (view full compatibility chart), WiFi as WAN* (more info)
  • Networks Supported for Embedded Modem: AT&T 4G LTE (Band 4/17); WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ (800/850/1900/2100 MHz)

I am using the MBR1400 as a CAP (Cellular-As-Primary) in several of my locations. The unit was a breeze to deploy and is very stable. After monitoring the sites for over two weeks now, we have not experienced any down time. I did couple the MBR1400 with the Wilson Wide Band Yagi Antenna (314411) for a more stable signal. Matt Bauman was very helpful and made sure I had the right connectors and cables to connect the antenna to the Cradlepoint. I would highly recommend this product.

Absolutely delighted with the cradle point. The robust modem finally brought real 4G service to my remote farm.

Replaced a constantly disconnecting/reconnecting Verizon 4G router with this Cradlepoint about three weeks ago. This is a much more solid router. Lots of settings, statistics, diagnostic tools in the firmware. 3GStore was very helpful in answering pre-sales questions. They seem to know what they're doing.

I bought this router for my brother and sister out at their restaurant. They only have Verizon 4G service for internet. My brother uses social media alot to advertise and let his followers know what is going on out at Swabbies. I downloaded the manual before I received the router so setting it up was easier for me. The features that I like are scheduling, multiple WLAN, Failover, WPA2 encryption, 600 foot WLAN broadcasting, Easy to view external lights, gigabit LAN ports. Its been up and running perfectly for 3 weeks, very strong 4G signal with all bars. I did install a Wilson electronics external 4G antennae. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and the

While I like this unit, it is of no use to me without a connection to a cellular network. I purchased the Millenicom service, but after many hours of fruitless tech support and support by my paid technician, it will not perform, despite having great LTE signal strength. This IS NOT a fault of the MBR 1400, but again in my case the router is useless without a working mobile connection..

3Gstore Comments:
We're sorry the Millenicom service didn't work out for you (Millenicom has actually since gone out of business, so it is no longer an option whatsoever). Per our records, you returned the router after you were unable to get your Millenicom service working. We're sorry you weren't able to utilize the MBR1400 and all its great features!

Great product. Allowed me to insert an activated ATT SIM card and had 4G wireless installed in our coach within minutes. We needed an outside connection to internet without having to switch networks to a separate hotspot. This guy did the trick. Way more expensive than a traditional router, but reasonably priced for what it allows you to do.

This was a great upgrade for me. I had the Cradlepoint 1200 and a usb verizon (Novatel) cellular modem that I had trouble staying connected with.(I am on the fringe area of Verizons signal and had always used an add on antenna) So far with this upgrade things are working much better. I would not waste the money on any antenna upgrade though the stock antennas on the modem worked better for me than the upgraded paddle antennas I purchased with it or the existing external antenna that I had been using. My verizon sim card slipped right into the Cradlepoint embedded modem and worked from the get go with just a few set up adjustments.

I have two AT&T activated sim cards. Obviously one can go in the router but what do you think the best solution is for the second sim to provide more bandwidth? Tethered mifi hotspot to the MBR 1400?
I was thinking of using this on a small yacht, can I run cables to other staterooms on different levels with antennas to expand its range?
Will this work with WiFi networks that have a login page or other splash page?
Can I use a SIM from a different provider?
Does this router support port forwarding?
