You must select a router to use along with your MiFi 4620LE. Using the MiFi along with a router will give you more control over your device, allow you to connect more users, and allow you to use the service with non-WiFi equipment (like desktop computers, gaming consoles, etc). The router you choose here will be pre-configured for use with the MiFi - everything is plug-and-play when you receive it! If you already own a compatible router and are interested in the Millenicom service, please contact us.
The Surf-On-The-Go (left) is a travel router that gives you 100-150' of WiFi coverage plus one ethernet port for wired connections. In addition to working with the MiFi 4620LE, it also supports the WiFi as WAN feature, meaning it can be used to connect to external WiFi sources (like campground WiFi, Starbucks, etc).
The Balance 20 and Balance 30 (right) are entry-level enterprise/office routers that support the MiFi 4620LE as well as two (Balance 20) or three (Balance 30) traditional wired internet connections (cable, DSL, etc). These routers can be used for failover (i.e. they can detect when the primary connection has failed and automatically switch to the backup connection) or they can load balance between all of the connections, and they're also great for VPN. The Balance routers give you TONS of control over your network, including optimizing and prioritizing connections and monitoring bandwidth usage by time or by user. These routers do NOT have built-in WiFi - if you need WiFi, you'll need to add a separate access point (you can connect an access point to one of the four ethernet ports).
The Max 700 and Max HD2 (left) are powerful enterprise routers that support load balancing or bonding of multiple connections (the 700 supports 4 USB, 2 WAN, and WiFi as WAN connections, and the HD2 supports 1 USB, 2 WAN, WiFi as WAN, and also has 2 embedded modules where you can plug in your own SIM cards from any 3G GSM provider). They support a variety of enterprise features like VPN, failover, bandwidth monitoring, and QoS, and provide up to 500' of WiFi coverage.
The Balance 210 and above (right) are powerful enterprise routers that support the MiFi 4620LE as well as up to 13 traditional wired internet connections (cable, DSL, etc). These routers do NOT have built-in WiFi - if you need WiFi, you'll need to add a separate access point (you can connect an access point to one of the ethernet ports).
