Its a great router it has really good range with just the internal antenna. I'm using it for gaming with the UML-290. I get an open nat with a static ip and a moderate nat with a dynamic ip. Only thing i wish it had was a off and on button like my netgear router. Would've been great if it had an extra on/off button also for the usb port so you could disable your usb modem without un-plugging it. But I'm not going to take a star for something like that, the product works flawless. I was having trouble with my pc recognizing my usb modem but when i plugged it into the peplink it took it 5mins and it had it configured and ready to go! Using this with a playstation 3 and for phones a tablet plus a computer too.

All the online reviews about your customer service are deserved and are excellent. I did end up ordering from you guys (the SOHO) as opposed to other retailers despite a slight price difference, primarily because of this.
Again, thank you for your prompt and informative replies.

I bought the Surf SOHO as a router to my Sprint Zing. The combination works great even thought the Zing wasn't on the approved list of hotspots. 3GStore support engineers are highly skilled to troubleshoot any network issues and were able to walk me through the setup.

We use these devices in our business for remote users. We have other Peplink products (Balance 710 etc) in our main offices so the VPN feature of the Pepwave is very useful. We configure the Pepwave with VPN tunnels to our main offices, set up some local address space for the device, set up its local DHCP server etc and ship the unit out to our end users, typically along with a Cisco IP phone. This has worked out to be much less hassle to support than traditional VPN software running on the PC. We can also remotely log in (over the VPN) to the admin interface to change any settings etc. The fact that it is flexible on wired/wireless both on the WAN and LAN side means we keep finding new uses for these cheap but awesome little devices extending our secure corporate network into unusual places.

The interface is well designed. It upgraded to the current version of the firmware. While evaluating the firmware, I like the fact that I can reboot into the new or old versions by clicking a selection on the screen. The Wifi as WAN gave me a bit a trouble at an RV park I was staying at. I reported it to tech support and after 2 weeks, they're still looking at it even though I am no longer there.
All in all, it does a good job. The reporting abilities and bandwidth monitoring are the best of all of the routers I have tried (this is the fourth one). I plan to get a couple of more so I can use the VPN abilities.

Awesome solution - bought this with the Millenicom 20GB 3G/4G device and plan - what a dream solution. Power outage yesterday at the Marina and surrounding area..no problem, went to the Millenicom device and fired up the boat's generator - what a solution. I love the ease of use of this device, the seamless connectivity, configuration of it - and with the Millenicom device. Love the 3G store, service, support and rapid shipping. This company is solid - I'm so impressed - it is rare to find such good products, quality service, and everything. This is THE place to shop. This device is complex (you can get as granular with configuration), or simple - the UI is solid and easy for the novice and expert alike to use. You won't be disappointed.

Very easy to set up and excellent help via the forum with PEP representatives.
Only surprise was that the WiFi is either 2.5 or 5GHz unlike other wireless routers where you van use both bands simultaneously. The build inn antenna has a decent range. I added a pair or +9db antenna's for an even better coverage.

This was the only affordable router that allows me to tether my 4620L hotspot via USB. Solved the problem I had where the hotspot would disconnect and not re-connect. I also like the feature where it saves the last firmware used, so if the new version gives you problems, you can easily go back. The best part of the whole deal was the support I got from the 3gstore.com techs. They have no problem spending all the time you need to work out your issues, even with products they didn't sell. You guys are the best!

Millenicom Internet provider has a new hotspot device while 3G still continues to sell the outdated MiFi 4620LE requiring an additional router to be bundled with the outdated device. If I had ordered the Millenicom Internet service through Millenicom, I would have received the new hotspot device instead of the outdated device that 3G is still selling and since 24 hours had passed, I am stuck with the older outdated device plus this router which added cost to the entire bundle...
