We fulltime in our 40 foot Coach. WiFi is important to us. Although it's getting better, WiFi is still weak in a lot of RV parks. One can use a hotspot phone or device from AT&T or Verizon, but data gets expensive. 3G Store sold us a Pepwave 300M WiFi extender. Sure made a difference. Another plus. These devices can be tricky to set up and 3G Store has excellent support staff. Check out 3G store for your networking needs.

Very well built. Aesthetically nice. Took about 10 min to set up and connect my router to it. Interface easy enough if you have ever set up a router before. Nice features in the web-based interface. I am using it for city-wide wifi in Ponca City Oklahoma and it works like a champ. I am 400+ feet from the City's pole and get full signal, full expected speed. I dropped CableX company at $60/mo and went free, and glad I did. Might be a little slower than cable, however, it is not a deal breaker at free. I can still watch Netxxx movies and not have any issues.

I am a baby boomer novice. We travel full time in a 45' motor home. We received this, called the 3G Store, and the techs had us up and running in 10 minutes. I have used it in 4 RV parks so far. I have been able to log on even though all four parks required a password and 2 of them limited you to one device. As I write this I have the PepWave logged onto the parks Wi-Fi and I have 6 devices logged onto it. It also has a feature to locate the strongest tower in the parks system and seamlessly change towers if need be if the signal weakens or a tower goes down. Later I found one of the parks claimed to utilize a "Splash Page" but the Pepwave hooked right on? But I can not say it is splash page proof! The model I received in the mail is a newer one then the 3G Store shows a photo of. For instance it has two Earthenports in the back vs. one and is some type of 'latest model'. The radio is awesome and where the PC showed 4 signals the pepwave identified 17. I have been told it is much more powerful than the Cradlepoint costing $349.00 ($150. more) and I believe it.
Thanks for your comments. The 300M was updated late 2014 and we updated our pages rather quickly, perhaps you saw an older image on some other web site. I see that you have been in contact with our tech support frequently, glad that all is working for you and thanks for being a 3Gstore.com customer!

I'd have happily given this a 5 rating if it had the ability to log into RV campsites that require passwords to access their internet service. In fairness that wasn't one of the questions I asked in my phone pre sale consultation call so no harm and no foul. I wasn't familiar with the "pay per connected device" business model some campgrounds employ and didn't know enough to ask to be fair and candid.
What I like most about the device connector is the ability to log into one hotspot and then connect all the devices we carry and we carry a lot. Most often we can just leave those 8 devices connected to the Pepwave and connect it and the rest is "Plug and Play" like. I also think I like the fact that it does appear to boost our own Verizon MiFi signal and other WiFi signals, if within range. I say think because anytime the Pepwave is connected it always seems to broadcast a 5 bar signal. Pretty confident it does work as described however because switching from it to the hotspot itself does most often make for a stronger and faster connection.
One thing I'm not sure about is the advertised 1000 foot range. Seems to be a little to a lot overstated based upon our actual location relative to the RV campsites WiFi antennae. Only to say that this might not be the best stand alone solution for those RV'g without their own MiFi device. All said and done, "free" and even the "pay as you play" WiFi services in most RV camps and resorts promise much, much more than they actually deliver.
Overall though this is a product I would recommend to others and I am happy about our purchase.

This Pepwave Device is far from being easy to install and use. I'm not a newbie and I've spend a few hours going through the installation options and steps to eventually find some signal.
It still won't work the way I intended.
If you use this for better camping ground signals, I suggest you look somewhere else.
I haven't been able to get any better signal at any campground I'Ve been so far on the USA East coast.
I really feel like it's a waste of money.
Just get a laptop and go sit next to the signal source.
The Device Connector can be a bit tricky to set up initially. We provide customers with a custom tip sheet and video demonstration to guide them through the process, and we also provide free expert tech support for year. David, you haven't contacted us for tech support - is there something we can help with? Please contact us so we assist!
Also, please note that as mentioned on the product page, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every WiFi source - compatibility can be affected by the type of hardware or security setup used by the administrator of the WiFi source.

The Pepwave connector is doing well and serving it's purpose.
Once we rec'd help to set it up from 3G, we haven't had any problems.
The setup being the only issue we had, was solved by a 3G tech.
Making this devices software, more user friendly would be nice.
