Check out the installation manual (PDF) for more setup information.

*In order for the Bridge Kit to function at the longest range possible with the highest data speeds, you will need line of sight between the two antennas without any interference from trees, buildings, hills, etc. The Bridge Kit can function at distances well over 1 mile, but requires more precise aiming and clear line of sight between the two antennas. At shorter distances, the Bridge Kit will still function with minor obstructions between the two antennas (like trees), but line of sight is always preferable for maximum performance.

Included in the kit:

  • 2 x 5.0GHz MIMO antenna kits (pre-configured)
  • 2 x PoE injectors
  • 2 x 17.5" x 1.5" poles with 5" x 7.5" mounting plates (mounts to any flat horizontal or vertical surface; appropriate anchors are necessary and not included) for outdoor mounting
  • 2 x pole clamps (secures the antenna to the pole; can be used with the included poles OR with virtually any similarly-sized pole if you already have one installed)
  • 2 x window/wall mounts and mounting bases for indoor mounting
  • 2 x 3" pieces of silicone sealing tape
  • Instruction manual

NOTE: The bridge kit requires two ethernet cables on each side of the setup (one to go from the POE injector to the antenna and a second to connect the POE injector to your router/network equipment); a total of FOUR ethernet cables will be needed and are NOT included. Any standard cat5 ethernet cables up to 300' can be used, but if you plan to mount the antennas outside, weatherproof ethernet cables are STRONGLY advised.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!! These units are a bit overpriced BUT they WORK!! I did not want these units to be seen on the outside my new house. So I experimented. I placed them inside and shot through the windows of both buildings. Then checked my speed. 70mbps my router is delivering 99mbps so 70 is still great. Then I tried shooting through the walls of both buildings instead of the glass. The walls are sheetrock, fiberglass insulation, 2" of foam, 1/2" plywood and vinyl siding.
Shooting through walls I hit 91mbps!! FASTER through walls then glass. My two buildings are 450' apart. Fantastic! They were truly plug and play. I knew I was paying a bit too much for them as I said .....BUT .... I tried calling other vendors and either had to "chat" or email them. No "real" humans to talk to. These people actually answered the phone! HUMANS talking to humans what a unique concept. I knew if I had an issue I could call for help. I had no issues and they work great. BUY THEM! You will not be unhappy you did.

Worked great for our application!

Disappointed. it may work as advertised and I am shooting through 2-3 trees but for only 720 feet and was hoping I would get SOME throughput, but the units refuse to connect (they did over a distance of 20 feet). I guess I need to find a 900mhz solution (they're not very common these days)

works just great, side A inside house shooting out thru window, 4 trees, and across 420’ field to side B where NOW we have a internet connection.

Sort By:

Does the Long Range WiFi Bridge system include Ethernet cables?

No, these will need to be purchased separately.

Can multiple Long Range WiFi Bridge systems be used together?

No, each system is setup to work as a single pair.

Can the Long Range WiFi Bridge system go through metal siding?

The signal MAY penetrate the metal siding, but there's no guarantee and the range would be severely limited. Bridge antennas are designed to be mounted outdoors, aiming at each other. They would run a cat-5 or 6 hardwire cable indoors to your networking hardware.

Can the Long Range WiFi Bridge system work at a 1 mile distance with trees in between?

The Bridge Kit uses 5Ghz frequencies to communicate between each side of the kit. Unfortunately, 5Ghz is not great at penetrating obstacles and in your environment it wouldn't work. We suggest having open line of sight for the best performance on the bridge kit. Some non-line of sight deployments are possible, but not at the ranges you are looking for. We might suggest a cellular internet connection at that location instead of trying a bridge type system without that line of sight.

What can the second port on the Long Range WiFi Bridge system antenna be used for?

The second port can be used as an additional port to connect a second ethernet device.

Can the Long Range WiFi Bridge system be used to bridge two devices that are simply passing data through an ethernet cable?

This would be able to act as an ethernet cable between any two pieces of networked equipment. The antennas would obtain an IP address from your network though, so there must be a router present for it to work. Typically this is used to bring internet access to another location, but you could for example, connect a switch on side A to a printer on side B for simple network access as well. Feel free to reach out to us by phone for more details (833-547-8673).

Can I trunk multiple VLANS through the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

Yes, VLAN will passthrough the Bridge connection to a switch attached to side B.

Will I need a special router or will common routers work the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

No, a special router is not required, just make sure you have an available Ethernet LAN port to connect to. The bridge kit requires 2 ethernet cables on each side of the setup (4 total, 2 for each side - one to go from the POE injector to the antenna and a second to connect the POE injector to your router/network equipment).

Can the network IP address on the Long Range WiFi Bridge system be configured to any subnet?

The system will bridge with any IP network your existing hardware is using. There is no need to manually configure any settings.

Can the Long Range WiFi Bridge system be installed with antennas inside windows?

As long as there aren't many other obstructions in between the locations that could cause interference, yes these come with suction cup window mounts for that purpose.

What is the maximum range of the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

Due to WiFi technology being prone to interference and signals in general being degraded by obstructions in between the WiFi antennas, we can't guarantee a full 1 mile distance, but if conditions are right and there is line of sight between the antennas, it is possible to get up to 1 mile away or even a little over 1 mile.

What is the angle that the antennas in the Long Range WiFi Bridge system will broadcast?

The antennas are directional and won’t work if they can’t “see” each other. The beamwidth is 60 degrees. If you're more than 60 degrees off it likely will not be very effective.

What sort of ping latency is introduced across the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

Latency is based on physical separation between the two antennas. Up close the latency added is only a few ms. At longer distances (2k feet, 1mile, etc) the latency will increase.

What is the best method for accurately aiming the two antennae in the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

Over shorter distances where you can see both ends of the kit, pointing at the other side is enough for these to pair up. Otherwise you can use Google Maps or Google Earth plus a compass app on your phone to get a perfect aim between the two points.

Does the Long Range WiFi Bridge system require a lightning suppressor?

If the antenna or cable may see a power surge or a lightning strike, an in line lightning suppressor is a good idea to protect your network equipment downstream of the suppressor.

How much bandwidth can the Long Range WiFi Bridge system support?

The Bridge system supports up to 150Mbps.

How secure is the connection with the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

The signal has a hidden ID that is preconfigured into each side of the bridge kit. That ID is secured by a 64 character passkey. Without special signal scanning tools you would not see the signal between the two antennas, and even if you did the passkey is virtually unbreakable.

What's the transfer speed of the Long Range WiFi Bridge system?

The Bridge Kit has a transfer speed of up to 150 Mbps, which automatically adjusts based on the aiming of the antennas, interference, and physical distance between the two sides of the bridge.

Does the Long Range WiFi Bridge system require line of sight?

Line of sight becomes a more crucial component when you start getting closer to 1 mile or further away. At 100 yards, for example, signal quality should be quite good despite possible obstructions between the two points. It may just take a little longer to get the two antennas aimed at each other.
