The Long Range Invisible Ethernet Kit is a point-to-point antenna system that allows you to wirelessly extend a network from one location to another location up to one mile away*. It consists of two antennas: one installed at the primary location connected to the LAN of the existing network, and a second at the secondary location to pick up the signal and feed it into a network switch, router, computer, camera, etc (whatever you need to provide internet to!). The kit comes pre-configured, so no difficult setup or networking knowledge is required. Just mount the two antennas using the included hardware, aim them at each other, and connect them to their respective devices! Download the installation manual (PDF) to see how simple the setup is.

*In order for the Bridge Kit to function at the longest range possible with the highest data speeds, you will need line of sight between the two antennas without any interference from trees, buildings, hills, etc. The Bridge Kit can function at distances well over 1 mile, but requires more precise aiming and clear line of sight between the two antennas. At shorter distances, the Bridge Kit will still function with minor obstructions between the two antennas (like trees), but line of sight is always preferable for maximum performance.

Included in the kit:

  • 2 x 5.0GHz MIMO antenna kits (pre-configured)
  • 2 x PoE injectors
  • 2 x 17.5" x 1.5" poles with 5" x 7.5" mounting plates (mounts to any flat horiztonal or vertical surface; appropriate anchors are necessary and not included) for outdoor mounting
  • 2 x pole clamps (secures the antenna to the pole; can be used with the included poles OR with virtually any similarly-sized pole if you already have one installed)
  • 2 x window/wall mounts and mounting bases for indoor mounting
  • 2 x 3" pieces of silicone sealing tape
  • Instruction manual

NOTE: The bridge kit requires two ethernet cables on each side of the setup (one to go from the POE injector to the antenna and a second to connect the POE injector to your router/network equipment); a total of FOUR ethernet cables will be needed and are NOT included. Any standard cat5 ethernet cables up to 300' can be used, but if you plan to mount the antennas outside, weatherproof ethernet cables are STRONGLY advised.

WiFi antenna specs:

  • Networking interface: (2) 10/100 Ethernet Ports
  • Bandwidth: 150Mbps full duplex
  • Dimensions: 11.57 x 1.22 x 3.15"
  • Weight: 0.88 lbs

Great product, performs extremely well on a 950 foot clear line of sight span. Would recommend it. Also received great support from the staff at 3G. Thanks

I recently bought this product. I am extending my network from my main house to our guest house which is approximately 600ft. I installed the product in less than five minutes and it is working great. Actually, it took my longer to cut open the box, and unwrap everything than the installation. The only thing you need is a good pair of eyes to see the antennas. It is a line of site device. You do not have to be perfectly on target but close. It would help to have two people to install (one at each bridge). I have been working in the networking industry (3Com, Cisco) since 1987 and this is the easiest product to install that I have ever experienced.

I purchased the invisible ethernet bridge from the 3 G store and love love love it. I swear a monkey could setup and install this kit. And it does exactly what it should. I have wifi at my house and needed Internet access at my shop (about 1000' away). I installed the kit (super easy) and BAM!!!! Internet at my barn. I can stream movies, download, upload, whatever I want to do just as if I was inside my house with my wifi. I was a little worried how it would do in snow and cold and rain weather, ect. So far I have encountered all the weather conditions and haven't lost a bit of signal or had any issues. I know it's a little more costly than some other bridge kits online, but with this product coming preconfigured, and the wonderful customer service from the 3 G store, it's a much better buy. I would buy it over and over again and recommend to anyone. They say it will send a signal alot further than what I'm using it for as well. It's a great product!!!!

Wow, what a great product! Mounted side A, drove to point B, mounted the antenna, pointed it in the general direction and viola, perfect signal and connection speed. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a quick and easy data link between 2 points.

Set up was very easy. The biggest issue that I had was seeing the green signal strength LEDs in full sunlight. It took me about 10 minutes of messing around to realize that the connection was good, but I just couldn't see the LEDs. The red and yellow ones are brighter, so I kept thinking that I wasn't getting a good signal. I did consider knocking off one star because it doesn't seem that you can change any settings. This product does what it says, and works very well, but advanced users looking to make any tweaks or wanting to understand how it's set up would be a little disappointed. Overall, much easier and cheaper than configuring your own Ethernet bridge.

I have used two of these kits now. I've tried some other hardware like the Pepwave Device Connector but it had stability issues due to the temperature, these are installed outdoors in Vermont. I'd rate this 5 stars based on the fact that it comes with all the mounting hardware and is ready to use, and compared to similar products the price is the best. There was an issue with one of the kits but after a call to support, it turned out to be an ethernet cable issue on my part. Once that was replaced everything is working.

How secure is this connection? Is the signal unencrypted? Is the signal open to others?

What line of sight requirements does this product have. I'm considering spanning 100 yards with numerous trees between the buildings.
