Perfect for travelers, business trips, or for those who need an antenna but don’t have the option to permanently mount one, this sturdy and versatile antenna can be adapted to a number of situations.
This new antenna replaces a previous long-standing 3Gstore customer favorite, the 6” Booster Antenna, which went “end of life” earlier this year. The Taoglas 8” Indoor/Portable Full-Band 3G/4G Antenna does everything the Booster Antenna did, but has several additional advantages, including a longer cable (8’ vs 3’), slightly higher gain, a sturdier design, and a hinged connector for both horizontal and vertical mounting options.

I am in an RV, parked for the season, in a Verizon fringe area for signal. Data was intermittent. Upon receiving the Apex, I plugged it into my UML290 aircard. I now get a consistent signal of 71-73dbm, and constant 4G data. Yes there are antennas that perform better and cost more. For the price and its inside location, I am pleased with the results from the Taoglas paddle antenna. In addition, 3Gstore's support has been exemplary.

This product did not work at all. My cell phone reception did not improve one bit.
We're sorry it's not working for you! Did you do any testing before ordering to confirm that an antenna would help your situation? Please give us a call and we'll be happy to help you troubleshoot or issue an RMA if you prefer. We also see that you ordered this with the passive adapter cable to use with a device that doesn't have an antenna port - remember that the passive adapter should be placed close to the internal antenna (you may need to experiment with placement), and that passive adapters can only be expected to work about HALF as well as true adapter cables (you can read more here: http://3Gstore.com/passive).

The antenna and adapter arrived as promised and it works great with my Unite product.

It's not working for 4G - 2300Mhz
Please call us to troubleshoot - the antenna does cover that frequency, so unless there is NO signal in your location for the antenna to pick up, you should be seeing improvement.

Didn't work as good for me as the stock antennas that came with the ARC Cradlepoint embedded modem.
By any chance, could you have received an antenna that was either defective or damaged slightly? Did you happen to call our Technical Support Department so that we can determine the issue and get a working antenna in your hands? We would like you to be happy with your purchase and willing to do what is necessary to make that happen!

This is the best bet for a simple, screw-on antenna. It seems to gain a few dB's (compared to the stock whips we have) and it's hard casing makes it quite durable too.

The Paddle antennas are working quite well, the stock antennas on the ARC MBR1400LE-VZ are delivering around -57 to -61dB. At first we were ordering the 4dB whip which delivered -55dB, but the new Paddle antenna has brought us down to -47dB! Still not quite as good as the 4G LTE Amp/Paddle combo at -37dB, but great results where this antenna can be used without the amps.
