Cradlepoint AER 2100 With Embedded Sprint 3G/4G Modem - DISCONTINUED

No Longer Available

Item Number: 5182

This router has been replaced by the multi-band 2100LPE-SP

The CradlePoint AER 2100 is designed for the distributed enterprise to intelligently manage converged wired and wireless connectivity for a highly reliable “connected experience” at the edge. This all-in-one networking solution combines routing, multi-WAN support (wired + 4G wireless), advanced security, and best-in-class WiFi in a platform that can be deployed, managed, and optimized via the cloud. Network administrators can extend applications and services to remote branches with a solution that is customizable through the real-time deployment of cloud-enabled services, applications, and analytics.

Fast Facts About This Product:

  • This router is best for: The AER 2100 is ideal for business and enterprise applications where the need for "always on" connectivity is a must; perfect for businesses who want an all-in-one solution, since the Verizon modem chip is built into the router's included modem component - no need for a separate aircard, just insert your activated Verizon SIM card right into the modem!
  • Internet Connections Supported: 2 MC400 embedded 3G/4G modules (1 x Sprint modem included; additional MC400s sold separately), 5 Wired WAN, 2 USB (view full compatibility chart), WiFi as WAN* (more info)
  • Networks Supported for Embedded Modem: Sprint 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE
  • WiFi Standard: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz (concurrent)
  • WiFi Range: 350-400' through walls, much greater unobstructed (variable depending on interference from other electronics and physical interference such as walls and ceilings)
  • Ethernet ports: 5 configurable GbE LAN/WAN (by default, 1 is set to WAN and 4 are set to LAN)
  • Power Supply: 12V 3A AC Adapter included; 12V 4A AC Adapter sold separately (required for users using both USB modem ports in addition to the embedded modem)
  • Size: 10.25" x 8.5" x 1.75"

*Compatibility with all WiFi networks cannot be guaranteed. Networks requiring authentication on a "splash page" (e.g. Starbucks WiFi) in particular can be hit or miss.
