I will NEVER shop at 3G store again! Even if they are the only one with an item I want in stock. I called and told them what I was looking to accomplish and the tech recommended the Pepwave MAX BR1 and even gave a guarantee that it would. trying to get it working was very costly to me personally because it took days to go back and forth with the tech department. after many hours of trying I gave up and had to send the MAX BR1 back. They were happy to take it back because what they said would work and it did not... But, they also charged me $115 dollar restocking fee! When I recommend something to my clients and it does not work they don't get charged. 3G store is dead to me, and I will let all my friends know of the waste of time and money it is to use 3G store. The MAX BR1 does not work! Use Amazon they know customer service. If something is wrong they take it back no questions asked and no "restocking fee".. Oh... but I'm sure it really cost $115 to restock the Max BR1 I sent back, in the exact packaging , wrapped just as it came. What a joke!

3Gstore Comments:
Kevin, we are really sorry that this didn't work out for you and that you feel the way that you do. The reason your BR1 didn't work for you is that you were trying to use a SIM from your phone and it didn't have the correct data plan on it. We did our best to help you and even got the manufacturer involved to help out, but after leaving you two voicemails and sending you an email requesting that you turn on "remote assistance" so Peplink could help troubleshoot, you were unable or unwilling to do so. Also, you claimed that we never told you about our return policy, but we record all calls and confirmed that 6 minutes into your initial call with us, we clearly explained the policy and you said "OK".

We have sold 1000s of BR1s that work flawlessly (on all carriers). Again, we're sorry things didn't work out for you!

worked as advertised and seller was very responsive. I plan on call them again with additional setup questions and have no doubt that they will respond as good as they did before.

First road trip has already proven this is worth every dollar I have invested. Fantastic signal strength made internet access smooth and delay free. This is a game changer for those that need to be on the internet.

Fantastic piece of hardware!! Wi-Fi coverage is almost unbelievable and no more router/usb reboots! Put this in my parent's 5000+ sq ft country home 3 wks ago and literally have not touched it since. Could not be more pleased. Highest recommendation!

I had been using a myfi hotspot as my main internet connection, and finally made the jump to the Pepwave... Great product, easy setup, great signal, great speed, and great traffic management. It's built strong and rugged, and doesn't require any special attention once it's set up. It just works!

The product has worked great so far,it was a little bit of a hassil getting set up with Verizon Cell service but this has no affect on the quality and performance of the PEPWAVE unit

I've installed the MAX BR1 in my camper van, which serves as my mobile office when we are on the road. I have an AT&T SIM as the primary in this unit. On a recent trip through rural, southern New Hampshire, my iPad claimed there was no AT&T signal. The MAX BR1 in conjunction with a MobileMark LTM401 antenna mounted on the top of the van consistently had 4 or 5 bars of signal, and excellent network performance. I also have a T-Mobile SIM in this unit and have configured the T-Mobile SIM to allow roaming and the AT&T one to NOT allow roaming. T-Mobile's roaming in Canada is at no extra cost now. I also have the Wifi on the MAX BR1 set up as a Wifi client, so when I am near a Wifi I trust, it will latch on and use that connection in preference to LTE. The BR1 is flexible to set up and capable. Performance is stellar.

took a couple of hours to set up with the help of 3G staff. He was very patient. It works great. Would have been nice to have better paper work as to how to put the card into the route, what end goes up etc.Still do not quite get it, but placed it in the lower slot. Just better documentation on the basics to set up the pepwave, rather than having to look thru movies and pdf's that do not quite address entirely the set up. (ie the top slot is fed this way and the bottom that way, just a couple of pictures. Which antenna goes with which slot. What is the use of the GPS unit. Just the simple basics from A to Z on how to hook it up. Also do not quite get it, but near us in a location that has worse reception via iphone, a neighbor of mine got a new Verizon router that gets better reception than ours (14 compared to 10 MBps.). Is theirs a better unit, better antenna than the pepwave? Verizon can see once the card is on the pepwave that the original phone is not being used. They can not tell what is being used.
