took a couple of hours to set up with the help of 3G staff. He was very patient. It works great. Would have been nice to have better paper work as to how to put the card into the route, what end goes up etc.Still do not quite get it, but placed it in the lower slot. Just better documentation on the basics to set up the pepwave, rather than having to look thru movies and pdf's that do not quite address entirely the set up. (ie the top slot is fed this way and the bottom that way, just a couple of pictures. Which antenna goes with which slot. What is the use of the GPS unit. Just the simple basics from A to Z on how to hook it up. Also do not quite get it, but near us in a location that has worse reception via iphone, a neighbor of mine got a new Verizon router that gets better reception than ours (14 compared to 10 MBps.). Is theirs a better unit, better antenna than the pepwave? Verizon can see once the card is on the pepwave that the original phone is not being used. They can not tell what is being used.

Works great with my AT&T service, I haven't had any problems. I use it inside my truck as a hotspot, when doing fire investigations.

This unit has to disconnected every two days plus the printer does not work for any computer unless you disconnect the wireless connections and then reconnect. Not happy with this at this time.

3Gstore Comments:
We're sorry this hasn't been working out for you! Our support team will be happy to continue troubleshooting with you to get you up and running, and Peplink is investigating the printer issue with you. Keep in mind we do have a 30 day return period and the router is covered under warranty for 2 years, so we can help you with a swap if needed.

This worked out great for remote access to our site. Easy to set up and intuitive. Also like the ability to VPN. We will use more of these in the future. Kevin Pfeifer and Dario were very helpful in answering my questions. Shipping was fast.

Insanely easy/fast setup. Got online with an AT&T static pass-through IP address in under 15 minutes. Spins circles around Sierra Wireless products.

Amazing -ROCK SOLID- product. We moved from a Pepwave Surf Soho with a UM175 connected that we were rebooting every day. This has been up for over 155 days without a reboot and transferred hundreds of megs of data without an issue. We have the BR1 mounted in our basement and connected to two Wilson Single-Band 700-960MHz Yagi Antenna (301111) in opposite polarities mounted on the roof. We get full bars with the antenna pointed at the nearest Verizon cell tower. We just inserted our Verizon SIM and it was off to the races. It just works. The built-in router has enough features for a network engineer (like me) including DHCP reservations, local DNS, static routes, etc. We have the Ethernet LAN port connected to our local Ethernet network and 4 Ubiquity UniFi access points. We do not use the internal WiFi access point. We love this thing. It might be spendy, but it was worth every single penny.

Great product! Does exactly what it says and super easy to setup. I have it running with a T-Mobile SIM and it configured 'automagically'.

The Pepwave Router ended up being perfect for what my business needed. We needed our own network that can travel with us from location to location. We bought a SIM card from Verizon, put it in the router, and now we can have wired internet for our computer anywhere we go. Thanks so much to 3G for recommending this - we are very happy with the product!
