At 4.9" x 2.9" x 0.6", the PHS300 is about 25% bigger than the CTR350. The extra space makes room in the design for the Lithium-Ion battery.
We tested battery life using a Sprint U727 and connected a laptop that reloaded web content in multiple browser windows to keep constant traffic through the router. Under these test conditions, we were able to stay online for just over 2 hours and 15 minutes!

Excellent Product, Works flawlessly. Just plugged my ATT shockwave and was up and running. Never drops the connection. Very Solid. One thing that I had to do was, I use Cisco VPN. Opening port 500UDP and 500Firewall, allowed me to connect. As for battery power, I made an adapter to power the cradlepoint off mu laptop USB, so no battery issues for me.

I just had the third one I owned die. The first lasted just over a year, but was out of warranty and had a lot of use. The second was only used a bit then 3 months later died. Cradlepoint replaced it but I used it little since I had a CTR350. Two weeks out of the warranty for the first one this second one died (about 9 months, rarely on), and they won't do anything.
Their support was the usual low level of mediocrity when #2 died. They are atrocious now. I reported the problem, then they asked who my wireless carrier was - it won't turn on even without a modem, but I answered. Then I tried chat. After typing in all those stupid details it would disconnect after a few minutes and I would have to type them in again. Their hold times are over half an hour and they make you go through "did you plug it in" type questions. If there is ever a problem their support is so bad that even if they were to condescend to replace the unit you would still regret having bought it.
I will never buy another Cradlepoint product and regret buying the ones I already have.

Match this with a D-Link DWL-G730AP or similar product that would pick up the WIFI signal and feed it into a wired network and you have any combination you could need for remote access and trouble-shooting. Nice package.
