This is the Tekkeon MP3450i "R3" version, which includes a USB port, allowing you to power/charge virtually ANY device that can be powered by USB! It also features a more stable Li-Ion battery. Other retailers are still selling the older model, which does NOT include the USB port and uses a polymer battery. The MP3450i R3 is otherwise identical to the original version
The Tekkeon myPower 3450i R2 was developed with input from Cradlepoint Technologies engineering staff to be the best portable power source for use with 3G and 4G routers . It is an industrial-grade, high-temperature, high-capacity lithium polymer battery for use with portable instruments and equipment as portable power, or as an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) for battery backup. This universal battery provides instant power for instruments and equipment that require between 5V and 19V. The voltage is fixed for the connected equipment, or can be quickly changed to meet the power needs of a wide range of devices.
The 3450i R2 comes with DC adapters/tips for use with a wide variety of products, including 3G & 4G routers (Cradlepoint, Peplink/Pepwave, BC2, WiFiRanger, Kyocera KR2, Linksys), and its USB port allows you to also power/charge virtually any USB-powered equipment!

This unit works flawlessly and when coupled with the extended battery, the power seems to go on forever. There seems to be a tip for almost everything. I highly recommend this unit!
