I installed this antenna on my house and I have gone from 2 bars (maybe) to a full 5 bars consistently. Before - EVDO RSSI: -91dBm 1xRTT RSSI: -98dBm AFTER - EVDO RSSI: -64 dBm 1xRTT RSSI: -75dBm. Download speeds up to 1.83Mb/s. Upload up to .50Mb/s. This is double what I was getting. Higher is better if you have trees, etc. in the area. I moved the antenna 5 feet higher after first testing it and that is when I went to a consistent 5 bars. Good product worth the $. USB modem is a Novatel 727 and Verizon service.
