Here are some 'Frequently Asked Questions' (and the answers)

Q: How fast is EVDO?

Answer: That will depend on what kind of coverage is available where you need it. Check the Sprint EVDO coverage map and see what's available where you want service. Make sure to look at "Data" coverage (it defaults to voice). Orange is Sprint's high speed EVDO service, and Green is their 1xRTT/NationalAccess service.

Average Speeds by type of Network:

EVDO Rev-A 600 ~ 1400 kbps Download, bursts to 3 Mbps; 200 ~ 800 kbps Upload, bursts to 1.8 Mbps
There are no guarantees regarding speeds by either carrier. Your speed will vary depending on both the quality of signal you receive at your device and the bandwidth/load at cell tower your device connects to.

There are no guarantees regarding latency/lag by either carrier. Your latency will vary depending on both the quality of signal you receive at your device and the quality of network along the route your connection follows, to destination server.

Q: Is Sprint EVDO "Unlimited"?

Answer: There is no limit to amount of data you can use per month, but overage charges take affect after first 5GB of data per billing month.

Q: Are there any other fees involved?

Answer: Sprint will charge a $36 activation fee if this is a new account and $26 if adding a device to an existing account. If you have an existing corporate-liable account, the activation charge is waived on 2 year contracts. In addition to the monthly $59.99 fee, there will be varying state and federal taxes, just as there are on your cell phone plan.

Q: Is there a "Free Trial Period"?

Answer: Sprint provides a 30 day trial for your EVDO service, but it is not "Free". If you are not satisfied with Sprint EVDO service, you can cancel within 30days and not be subjected to their prorated early termination fee. Activation fee (if any) will be refunded by Sprint. You will not be refunded shipping charges. Sprint may also charge you for a partial month of service.

Q: Does 3Gstore have a refund policy?

Answer: All items invoiced by 3Gstore.com such as amplifiers, repeaters, antennas and routers, fall under our 14 day return policy

Latest rebate forms are available here.
The 1yr plan at $79.99/mo is not a cost effective solution. You pay more for any device up front because you only get $75 service credit, and you pay $240 more per year. The smarter solution is 2-yr plan and paying $200 ETF after 1st year.
Insurance is $7/mo with a $50 deductible, and covers device defects as well as damaged or lost devices.
Static IP address can be enabled on business or consumer accounts. more info in our blogpost.
3GStore Re-Certified devices do not have insurance option available.

SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT - You are entering into a binding legal agreement with Sprint on behalf of yourself or, if you are a Business customer, your company. Your Subscriber Agreement ("Agreement") includes: (i) the requirements and terms of the Service Plan(s) you choose as set forth in our Rate Plan Brochure and other printed materials made available to you; (ii) if your Service Plan is not specifically set forth in any printed materials, the requirements and terms set forth in the current Rate Plan Brochure apply, excluding the monthly charge and number minutes included in your Service Plan; (iii) the most recent Sprint PCS Terms and Conditions of Service ("Ts&Cs"); and (iv) the items below.A copy of the Ts&Cs is available at www.sprint.com.

1. Mandatory Arbitration. As set forth more completely in the Ts & Cs, you agree to a mandatory arbitration provision providing that (except for matters properly brought to small claims courts) any legal or equitable claim, controversy or dispute of any kind between you and Sprint and/or any of its employees, agents, affiliates or other representatives, must be resolved by final and binding arbitration.

2. Term and Early Termination Fee. If you cancel service within the term indicated on this Agreement and not under our current return policy, you agree to pay an EARLY TERMINATION FEE of $200 for each unit in service that is cancelled in addition to other charges (including usage charges) that may have accrued.

3. Activation Fee. A non-refundable fee of up to $36 phone activation fee applies to each new unit activated and to certain service plan changes or upgrades of equipment.4. Other Monthly Charges. Monthly charges specified above do not include taxes or Sprint Fees (including a USF charge which may change quarterly, cost recovery fees of $0.55, and state/local fees that vary by area (in some areas up to s 16% but in most areas less than 3%). Sprint Fees are not taxes or government required charges.

5. Employees and Organization Member Discounts. The discount percentage may vary from month-to-month based on the terms of the agreement your employer, association or other organization (each an "Organization") has with Sprint. Unless otherwise specified, the discount will be zero after your agreement or your Organization"s agreement with Sprint ends.

6. Number Transfers. If you have asked to port your current landline or wireless telephone number to Sprint, you authorize Sprint to take all necessary steps to port your number.

By submitting this form, you (a) represent that all information you have provided to Sprint is correct; (b) agree that you have read and agreed to all terms of this Agreement, including the terms of your service plan and the Ts&Cs.

THIS CONTRACT CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION WHICH MAY BE ENFORCED BY THE PARTIES.
