MBR1200 Details:

The Cradlepoint MBR1200 is a robust 802.11n router with 3G/4G failover capabilities. Built for home, small business, branch office, temporary and remote enterprise environments seeking to implement continuous, always-on connectivity.

With its failover/failback capability, the MBR1200 automatically switches to a secondary connection (either wired or wireless) when your primary service is interrupted. Once your service is restored, the MBR1200 will automatically failback to the primary connection - keeping your business online with minimal interruption to users.

The high-performance MBR1200 has the capability to create, manage, and terminate multiple IPSec VPN sessions. It provides up to five concurrent sessions, supporting transfer and tunnel modes and several Hash and Cipher algorithms. These encryption protocols protect your communications from one private network to another from end-to-end.

Our exclusive site-to-site VPN Tip Sheet is included for FREE when you purchase the MBR1200 from 3Gstore

Powered by WiPipe technology, the MBR1200 router includes many features found in expensive, enterprise-class routers at a fraction of the cost. With minimal setup and maintenance, including Cradlepoint's pre-installed software, it has "right out of the box" simplicity.

Standard on the MBR1200 are security features such as multiple WiFi encryption modes (WEP and WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise) and built-in firewall, which prevent unauthorized use of your connection. With no additional software to load, you'll be up and running in minutes.

The device works great! It only took me about ten minutes to set up and get going. It handles three phones and an iPad with no problems. We even add a few computers and a printer occasioinaly, with no issues. We are satisfied with the product, and with the technical guidance we received before the purchase.

We live in an area with very little cell phone signal and no DSL or cable internet. This router, combined with a roof-mounted antenna, amplifier, and repeater, has made our home wireless throughout and gives me trouble-free internet access. It is very intuitive and easy to use. Kudos to for setting us up with the right equipment to get the job done.

Very good product, the only lack is a WAN connection through Wifi

3Gstore Comments:
You can do a WAN connection through WiFI with any of the newer NetBSD routers from CradlePoint (CTR35, MBR95, CBR400, MBR1400, etc)

I haven't had them for very long, but so far a great replacement to what we were using. What a device more features than I need, but would rather have more than not enough. We are using these on towboats using ATT USB modems, but with the ability to use any carrier and any style of card makes this a great device.

I've had this set up for about a month now. It was easy to set up and configure and has been reliable since then. I have a PC5750 card and it works better now than with my old Linksys 3G router.
