Outdoor cellular panel antennas are directional antennas for receiving cellular signal. They are less directional than Yagi antennas but far more than omnidirectional antennas. They are best placed on walls, as opposed to roofs, though they can be placed anywhere with the included pole mount.

  • The important bits to note are the ohmage and bandwidths the antennas cover.
    • All Wilson panel antennas are wideband, which means they cover all North American carriers.
  • This antenna is designed to be used as the exterior antenna in a 75ohm repeater system.
    • It is NOT compatible with 50ohm amplifiers.

Excellent support and shipping. Antenna had some issue that was corrected by Wilson. It was no 3g's fault. They worked with Wilson and resolved the issue. The antenna is great. Brought my download speeds from 1-2 up to 8-17. Upload hits 4-5 quite often! LOVE IT!!!!!! I tried it inside first. Had terrific results sitting on a shelf along the outside wall. Highly recommend this antenna for fringe areas.

How do I know where to aim a directional antenna?

You want to aim the antenna in the direction of your cell tower. Once you have it aimed in the correct direction, you want to gradually zone in on the best possible signal from that direction. Slowly wave the antenna by about 5 degree increments until you find a 'sweet spot.'
