Add a SIM if you don't already have one (you will need to call Verizon to get it activated)

This router features an embedded modem and you will need a SIM card with active service from Verizon to use it. The ARC has a standard 2FF SIM slot - if you plan to use a micro or nano SIM, you'll need a SIM adapter.

The Cradlepoint ARC CBA850 is for businesses that need always-on connectivity but don’t currently have a router with failover options. Connecting this turn-key cellular broadband adapter to your enterprise network will instantly make it 3G/4G/LTE compatible. Add an activated SIM card from Verizon to use with the embedded cellular modem or connect using your USB external modem — or switch between them depending on business needs. You can then set your network to automatically change over if and when your main ISP has a failure to maintain continuous service. Two Ethernet ports are included on the CBA850 — one for local network management and one for IP Passthrough remote access.

This model of the ARC CBA850 adapter has a pre-set Verizon 3G/4G/LTE modem. Drop it into your network with zero-touch configuration for use on high-speed 4G LTE Bands 2, 4, 5, 13, 17 and 25 as well as Verizon's 2G/3G nteworks. Adding NetCloud Manager enables administrators to manage their networks using an Out-of-Band primary router while maintaining full configuration and monitoring power. You’ll also get access to detailed analytics and real-time availability alerts via the RJ45 serial console port to get the most out of your network. The adapter has Power over Ethernet, meaning it can run on a single 12V power supply and giving users more placement options.

Whether your business needs to increase uptime, allow third-party devices to connect remotely or reduce truck rolls, the Cradlepoint ARC Verizon broadband adapter is an effective solution. Additional features such as IPv6 support, virtual server/port forwarding, SMA cellular antenna connectors and active GPS support help your network and router run even smoother and faster. This adapter is made to be deployed immediately within your existing infrastructure, so your company can immediately experience the benefits. 3Gstore has fair pricing and includes a year of free technical support to get users up to speed.

This product provides a cellular backup to a restaurant client I work with. Works great. I was most impressed with the 3G store and how they handle customer service. First I received and email personalized asking if I needed any assistance setting this up. WOW! Who does that? This is very impressive. Not only did they reach out, but the spent a few hours with me on the phone assisting me with some of the more technical programming of the device. Since this was my first time working with this product, they were extremely helpful. I am very happy with 3G as well as the product
