Add a SIM if you don't already have one (you will need to call Verizon to get it activated)

This router features an embedded modem and you will need a SIM card with active service from Verizon to use it. The AER has a standard 2FF SIM slot - if you plan to use a micro or nano SIM, you'll need a SIM adapter.

Effectively manage your temporary office, micro branch or franchise internal network using the Cradlepoint AER1600 router. Part of their Advanced Edge Routing enterprise series, this version includes an embedded MC400 modem that is compatible with Verizon 3G/4G/LTE. You can also add up to five wired Ethernet connections, and by using real-time analytics, businesses can operate on the best available line for speed and data usage. This allows for intelligent 4G failover as well, improving connectivity and uptime for employees.

The Verizon Cradlepoint AER1600 has many of the features of large-enterprise routers in a more compact and more affordable package. Adding it to your network will give your business and customers the tools they need to get more done. These tools include far-reaching high-speed Wi-Fi, secure IPsec VPN connections for up to 20 concurrent users and their NetCloud Manager software for use from any internet-connected device. 3Gstore provides a year of free technical support with every router along with access to the Cradlepoint AER1600 user manual and other documentation. You can add a warranty extension of up to five years as well.

The equipment I just ordered kicked butt!

We had a 4g booster and then the Cradlepoint with a Verizon aircard.

Just to many devices.

We built a 30 ft mast out of waterpipe.

Put the omni antenna on top.

Hooked up the amp and connected the AER-1600.

When I arrived it took 4 minutes just to open

After installing the above items.

.6 MBPS became 6 to 8 MBPS.

This is awesome
