UPS SurePost and FedEx SmartPost Information

FedEx SmartPost and UPS SurePost are affordable shipping options available to residential or commercial customers in select circumstances. This service combines the advanced shipping networks of these companies with reliable delivery via the U.S. Postal Service. FedEx or UPS picks up the shipment from 5GStore’s Illinois warehouse and then delivers the package to a USPS facility close to the delivery address for final delivery to the customer by the postal carrier. Package weight and size limits apply to each order and vary depending on the shipping service you choose.

This alternative to ground delivery allows us to ship to P.O. boxes and military addresses without issue. FedEx and UPS require a physical address to deliver to, which is a problem for some customers. By using SmartPost or SurePost for shipping, 5GStore can deliver orders anywhere in the contiguous U.S. as well as Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and all U.S. territories such as Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Transit times vary based on location, but FedEx SmartPost and UPS SurePost shipments are typically delivered in four to nine business days (shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories may take longer). Use our shipping maps to estimate your delivery time from the shipment date. SmartPost and SurePost shipments are delivered Monday through Saturday just like regular U.S. mail.

If you select FedEx SmartPost or UPS SurePost for your shipment, you will receive two tracking numbers: one to track the package from the time it leaves 5GStore's warehouse to its arrival at the local USPS facility (the FedEx or UPS leg of the journey), and a second that allows you to track the package from the USPS facility to the delivery location. You will also be able to view the estimated delivery date through their tracking websites.
